With over 5 years of experience in the Indoor Karting industry, Mike has been able to learn many of the fundamental do’s and dont's that come along with opening, and running an indoor kart track. Not only can he help by passing this information on to the prospecting owner, he can also share his expertise in forming and running a successful championship series (league) at your facility.

As a Race Director, Mike was able to build a Championship Indoor Karting series from the ground up, running it with a formal integrity that rivals a professional series, while not losing site of the fun factor. With drivers moving on from that series to succeed at the international level, as well as the outdoor karting market, showing the legitimacy of the series, and the caliber of drivers coming out of it. An integral part of a successful indoor track, Mike can help design a custom league for your facility, utilize all it’s strengths while doing it. That said, he can also take a faltering series, and help bring it back to it’s former self, and beyond.

Mike has been teaching people how to drive karts almost as long as he has been driving them himself. Never teaching each person the same, Mike molds his lessons to each driver, building on their strengths, and improving upon their weaknesses. Teaching anything from fundamental basics, to advanced race craft; Mike can help any driver improve on where they are now, no matter the age or experience.

Working at an indoor facility, Mike has designed many tracks, and in the process has learned what is and isn’t a good idea. Also, he has learned ways of achieving a fun track to drive, while also providing an integral part to any track: the ability to pass. All the while never losing site of the most important thing: safety. Whether you are looking to build a new facility and need design ideas, or want to try something new at your existing venue, he is able to provide a unique layout to your operation.

Well now that is possible with the new stand alone timing system from SRD. Nearly every track has a timing system, but at most of them you cant see how you did until its done. This system gives you the ability to improve upon your time by seeing how you did right now, giving you the chance to try new things and see immediate results. Coupled with our sector pylons, and you get unparalleled amounts of data and the means to find those last few tenths.

One of the coolest elements in racing is the pit stop, and now any indoor facility has the ability to include this element into their established leagues. A stand-alone system, there are no manned operations, and it can be set up just about anywhere on the racetrack. This system gives an extra element of authenticity and realism to your existing leagues, enhancing the fun level which brings in more people.
